  1. I don't think it will take more than 30 minutes, maybe less. If you are not changing terminals you will be fine. Last year we were late for our flight and we asked a woman at the airport to help us, because we were with young kids also, and she was so helpful, she got us the boarding passes in no time (the line at the check in was very long and we would have missed our plane, if it wasn't for her). All the staff at Munich airport are very helpful. Don't worry.

  2. It's really going to depend where your gates are and you won't find that out until the day of the flights.  Gates change, even at the last minute, and the flight attendants will give you an update before you land.

Probably about 30-40 minutes.  When you get on your plane, tell your flight attendant that you're a bit worried and they'll help you out with directions when you land.

  3. Once you passed the security check Terminal 2 has two levels - G-Gates (lower ground) and H-Gates (upper ground). G-Gates are for domestic/european flights, H-Gates for the intercontinental flights. Depending on from which country you arrived you have to go to the H-Gates (including passport control). It may take up to 30 minutes from your arrival gate to your departure gate - munich airport insn't that big.

    Cheers,

  4. Hey,

I don't think it will take you long at all. 1,5 hours is PLENTY of time. Munich Airport ist not that big and since you are arriving and departing from Terminal 2 you need to worry even less. Me being a frequent flyer I would say it will take you approx. 10-15 minutes to change gates. Maybe slightly longer since you have kids. But the people who work there are usually quite helpful.

It never took me much longer to change gates in cities such as Atlanta, Washington DC, or Charlotte and those airports are much bigger than Munich's.

So don't worry and don't stress yourself. It will all work out. Have a safe trip!!!
