Munsarim heads market for Claiming Stakes – Lingfield Preview
The Keith Dalgleish-trained black gelding, Munsarim, is leading the betting market for the high-profile event of ‘Great Offers On Golf Membership Claiming Stakes’ which will be held at Lingfield racecourse on Monday, March 5.
The Class 6 race of 1m2f distance has total nine entries including Munsarim, Edgewater, Hurricane Spirit, Kidlat, Spinning Ridge, Tuxedo, Cheers Buddy, Dazzling valentine and Sienna Blue.
Munsarim undisputedly stands above all in terms of talent and success ratio. The five-year-old talented runner has accomplished three mega victories in a row since the dawn of 2012.
Starting with the fourth success of his career at Wolverhampton on January 13, he went on to win at Lingfield on January 25.
In his last outing again at Wolverhampton, the maverick gelding finished first. He was 40-85 favourite for that contest.
Since October 2011, Munsarim has been enjoying great form. As a whole, he has won 6 out of his total 23 races to date.
The brilliant runner started his career in August 2009. He has been a consistent performer since the very beginning.
At the moment, Dalgleish’s promising pupil is awash with form and spirit which he is carrying to Lingfield. Today, the hot favourite horse will try his utmost to maintain his unbeaten record.
Munsarim’s chances to win are as high as 95 percent, but his two rivals named as Spinning Ridge and Dazzling Valentine are likely to give him enough tough time.
Spinning Ridge seems to have boosted up his morale greatly after winning for two times during January 2012. Ronald Harris’ gelding finished third in his last outing at Wolverhampton on February 6.
The 71-race veteran runner has 9 triumphs to his credit. He is supposed to show a decent run today.
On the other hand, Dazzling Valentine has delivered some outstanding performances since the beginning of the calendar year. After finishing fourth each in two races during February 2012, he grabbed fifth spot on March 2.
The trainee of Alan Bailey is likely to unleash sufficient pace today and gain well.
Thus, there is going to be an awe-inspiring clash at Lingfield today. Each of the above trio will do his utmost to thrive. Munsarim will have to go through tough challenges to win. Let us see who he manages to keep his head high. Good luck to all the competitors.
