Ireland’s talented player Matthew Lightbody showed a staggering performance in Boy’s Singles U15 quarter-final when he toppled his compatriot Sam Herbert at the Munster U15 Juvenile Open Oct 2012 in Ireland, on Sunday, October 21.
The in-form Matthew, who was the top seeded shuttler in Men’s Singles main draw of the tournament, continued his killing run on court without showing any sign of confusion and easily registered a smashing victory over Sam in a dominating fashion.
Matthew employed his staggering skills on court without facing any considerable trouble from his un-seeded opponent and won the battle in straight games with a huge margin on the board.
On the other hand, the lower ranked Sam was completely helpless against the power play of his in-form opponent and remained struggling all the way to find a good flow.

Matthew remained comfortable on court after the mid-game interval as he played in the similar fashion. He continued hitting powerful shots in targeted areas and grabbed the opening game with a staggering score of 21-5.
Things were almost identical in the second game of this interesting contest as Matthew played in the similar attacking way.
The cracking smashes and spinning net shots kept Matthew ahead of his opponent all the way until the one-minute interval in second set.
Matthew was quick and positive in the arena in the concluding points of second set and took it with a staggering difference of 21-8.
The incredible Matthew won this contest in completely one-sided manner with a 21-5 and 21-8 score on the board.
