Murcia (region), Spain??

Question

I have a project for Spanish class and I am having trouuble finding information about the region of Murcia. I need to find an important historical figure from Murcia and if you have the website, I would greatly aprecciate it!! Also, I need to find recipes from Murcia ( and only Murcia; not Andalusia, Galicia, etc.). I have 6 so far but I am having trouble finding more!! I would greatly appreciate if you provided a website or websites!! Thanks!!

Go into Yahoo Spain. Then have a look from there. www.murcia.es for the city, www.murciaturistica.es for the province and www.cartagena.es should be useful.

Murcia is almost as much a backwater as Teruel but it has a coastline and is expected to take off with direct flights to Cartagena. It's time to invest!
