Murder dream?

Question

In my dream i am 'play fighting' with my best mate, who accidentally hits his head on the floor an dies. I don't realize that he is dead for a while and wait for him to get up.

seems very bizarre but my mate did undergo life threatening surgery to his head in reality about 5 years ago

The plot unfolds until i am the point where i am about to be arrested.

I wouldn't say i have any stress or problems towards my best friend, so i am a bit shaken from the whole experience.

Your brain is processing all the stuff that happens during the day.  The images that it comes up with are random firings of nerves.  You know how you cna be walking down the street and suddenly remember something that you haven't thought about for years because something really small prompts a train a thought?  It's the same thing.  The brain recalls anythign which is handy.  You might not have relaised it but soemthing during the day may have prompted you to think/recall/imagine your friends surgery.  It may not even have made it to your conscious level but when you when to bed it was a handy thing for your brain to visualise.  If you aren't worried about your friend or stressed I would just put it down to random thoughts which it was.
