So it looks like businessman Christopher Forster may well have taken his own life, those of his wife and daughter and every animal in the property. Can anyone here even begin to describe what thoughts must have gone through that man's head and how can any human being reach that intense level of violence and selfishness? Your thoughts please ............

  1. Well no it doesn't necessarily look like that at all. He was in thousands of pounds of debt and police are treating all their deaths, including Chris Fosters as murders. Never jump to conclusions my friend.

  2. He must have decided that it was better for him and his family to be dead rather than to live in the shame of poverty.  Very sad indeed.

  3. the guy just snapped, to go on such a shooting spree its obvious he lost it, what hitman would take the time to cap every animal........???

  4. Its the old thing: If I can't have it, nobody can. Rather like men who kill their ex-partner etc. Very selfish indeed.

  5. May they rest in peace x

  6. he obviously thought money and image was more important than love and family. He couldn't have taken it if he couldn't afford to send his daughter to an expensive school.

  7. It's a tragic story!!

  8. So sad..

i found this bebo page like a group sort of thing to leave your respects etc.. -

    xx

  9. I agree with you totally. complete selfishness! I feel very sad for the wife and daughter but for him i feel nothing. Scum! utter scum!

  10. Stress can effect the mind immensely. i guess if this is what happened he has become more and more irrational, until he just lost it, seeing no way out, possibly fuelled by alcohol.

  11. It was reported that this man had been drinking heavily earlier that evening which probably was the factor which put him over the edge. He was already suffering from sever financial problems and he thought that why should his creditors get his home and property. However his actions were  inexcusable by any standards.

  12. maybe he though if i get found out the animals may get taken away and then (like hitler) he killed them so he knows they wont be coz they are dead (awwwww)

    but there are many possibilities

  13. I thought about this last night and found it really hard to either sympathize or blame. It was trying to imagine how anyone can do that to people they love and have also created which is beyond comprehension. i can only think that his financial worries tipped him over the edge and he didn't feel he could leave behind what was his, which in itself is incredibly sad for everyone

  14. The local press is reporting that they have cctv footage of CF with a shot gun leaving the stables so it does at this point look like he did it.  I can only say that to think your own child is better off dead by your own hand than being moved to safety to continue her life shows that the man had lost all rationality.  Its truly terrible for all involved.

  15. Such cases only point to one thing. He snapped. He crumbled. His mind was not his own. Never mind the thoughts running through his mind - I don't think the man at that point in time had the ability to think - he may have snapped & been in automode. Tragic.
