Murlens Crash to swing back into form for the Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy – Heat 3 at Nottingham
Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy – Heat 3 will be held at Nottingham over 305 metres on Monday, 21st May. The line-up for the £125 race comprises of Murlens Crash, Rushmoor Andy, Scarty Reidy, Springwell Hot, Easy Speed and Romeo At Risk.
One of the most reliable entries for the race is Murlens Crash, Crash’s two-year-old brindle son out of b***h, Murlens Snowdrop. The 2012 season is his career debut season which he started off by getting drilled over 420 metres at Peterborough on 26th January in 26.26 seconds.
His career debut win was in a 420 metres race on 22nd March at Peterborough that the two-year-old settled in 26.25 seconds. The winner led the runner up, Willow Blue, by fifteen and a half lengths.
On 4th April, he won a Grade A2 420 metres at Peterborough by completing the trip in 27.09 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Margan Maestro, by four lengths. He timed the track distance in 27.41 seconds.
The evening’s favourite, Shreyas Trojan, ended fifth.
Ending third on 11th April was the last time that Murlens Crash got that driven down on the rankings as he then struck a hat trick and scored second in the most recent race that he was a part of.
He won the Grade A2 the End Of An Era Stakes on 20th April at Peterborough by making it to the other end of the wire in 25.90 seconds. He led the other 6/4 joint favourite of the race, Ickle Panda, by three and a half lengths.
Coming at terms with the third position was Racenight Wild.
The second leg of the hat trick was in a Grade A1 420 metres flat race at Peterborough over 420 metres on 2nd May. Murlens Crash was done with the race in 25.77 seconds and led the evening’s favourite of the race, Milliesupreme, by 1 ¾ lengths.
On 11th May, he won for a straight third time. He took 23.86 seconds to bag the Coral Romford Maidens at Romford over 400 metres. The 2/1 favourite of the race led by 4 ¼ lengths.
His last race resulted in a second score but he has all the chances of claiming the race tonight.
