Murphy's oil soap..? help..?

someone told me that you can use murphy's oil soap on horses as a fly repellant. im not thinking this is such a great idea. anyone have an opinion on this? if not, which flyspray would you reccommend?

  1. Repel X is a good fly spray and has been around for ages.  Keep the Murphys around for cleaning your saddle.

    idk wat it is called but its in an orange bottle... works pretty good as far as flysprays go

    i'm not sure about murphys oil soap. depending on thats in the ingredients (ie, posionous chemicals, toxins, etc) it might just make your horses coat shiney.

  4. we use watered down vinagar or naf off deet
