  1. I am so happy for Murray. It's his first Masters right? Great. At least now, we're not seeing a single man dominate the men's tennis (to make it clear, i don't hate Roger). Anyway, Andy deserves the win. He beat Djoko in Toronto, and now, beat him in Cincy.

And about the question, it doesn't mean that when Djoko beats Nadal (who beat Murray before) means Djoko's gonna win against Murray. When you're facing another competitor, it always different. Let's just say, Djoko can adapt with Nadal's playing style while he can't with Murray's.

  2. It could have gone either way. Murray has beaten Djokovic before.  Djokovic beat Nadal because he's better than Nadal on hardcourt and just outplayed him.  This match..well it could have gone either way.

  3. Really this is what makes tennis interesting. Just because it seems like someone should win easily doesn't mean it will happen. You have to earn your wins, and Novak definitely did not play to win today. It may have been overconfidence or just the conditions were troubling him a bit but Novak has a side to him that we've seen recently that shows he's vulnerable. We saw it today and against Safin at Wimbledon. I believe the pressure does get to him, especially recently. Perhaps the win yesterday made everyone expect him to win today easily and that played with his mind a little bit.

  4. Nadal wasn't at his best when he lost; still, I expected Novak to win today. I think ( and this is just my observation ) that Murray played very well and more importantly very smartly and countered everything Novak threw at him. And because Novak is not very strong mentally ( at least not as strong as Federer for example) he lost his concentration easily. I have no doubt in my mind that Novak has the talent to beat Murray, but Murray defended well when attacked varying his approach throughout the game and frustrating Djokovic until he completely lost the plot towards the end and was reduced to hanging into a lifeline while Murray threw chance after chance to wrap up the match. Kudos to Murray he was definitly the better player today. Hopefully the loss will help Novak realize he need to work on keeping his focus throughout the match.

  5. Sadly NoDjok didn't play as great as he did last night.  I think the heat did a number on him. It was almost 100 degrees on the court and he'd been playing at night in much cooler conditions.  I think he sort of gave up at the end, too.  It was hard to watch, especially with Brad Gilbert in the background yammering about how amazing Murray is--psh, as if!

    NoDjok forever!!!

  6. djokovic is mentally fragile, the only reason he beat rafa was because he had nothin to lose so he could hit hard and hope for the best! djokovic wont last even gulbis will beat him easily!

  7. Murray simply outplayed Novak and deserved to win. If you watch the match u`ll clearly see Andy played amazing compared to Djokovic.

Novak beat Rafa because Nadal was tired !!! Im not saying that as an exscuse because Djokovic did play some outstanding tennis against Rafa and was just the better player that DAY! However tiredness did contribute towards Nadal`s lost, think about the months nadal has had, winning all the tournaments, it was bound to catch up with him.... Anyway your question is like saying well Andy Murray beat Ivo Karlovic yet Roger Federer a great champion couldnt do it ????! Murray won because he was the better player...... :) Im very happy Novak lost too haha

  8. Murray beat him in Toronto too last week. Go Murray!

  9. did you watch the match? nolle had 50 unforced errors. it was heartbreaking

  10. Murray beat djokovic last week and tonight so it was not luck and you can't blame the heat as Andy is Scottish where it has never been 100F
