And while they are already out of the UEFA Champions League tournament after being eliminated by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AIK-c38243 Athens during the play-off round, Ahmed Musa seeks their elimination as a blessing in disguise.
CSKA remains one of the few clubs which are likely to lift the domestic trophy this season by signing talented and experienced players during the summer transfer window this term.
Musa, who joined the Moscow-based club from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VVV-Venlo-c40915 earlier this year, declared his side as favourites to win the league title along with the Dagestani club and Rubin Kazan this term.
The Nigerian striker insisted that CSKA, unlike other top Russian outfits, are concentrating on their domestic season after failing to reach the group stages of the European tournament.
“I really like it here, and it's not just words. The club has done everything to overcome their domestic problems. I am now totally concentrating on football. I live near the base, so I'm very convenient to get to training. I am
constantly trying to improve.”
“The fact that I really want to play every game is making me better. I carefully analyze my performance after each game. I draw conclusions and try not to repeat the same mistakes. Listen carefully to the coach, who explains us
how to react in any given situation," the African Youth Championship winner was quoted as saying.
Musa went on to admit that the domestic championship is getting stronger, insisting that people outside http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 cannot imagine how difficult it is. The 20-year-old assured the fans of meeting their expectations this season.
