Muscle stiff where there is a bug bite?

i was sitting outside. and i felt a little pain on my foot. i looked to see if it was a bug biting me or something and i didnt see anything. prettty dark outside. but yeah. when i went inside the house. whole foot felt like it was burning. really hurt. then after an hour or so it began to feel stiff. after a few hours its still stiff. bothers me too. anyone know what mightve happen? is this serious?

It shouldn't be anything to worry about.

This is what WOULD concern me:  

1. You begin to see a red stripe begin to show near the site of the bite, accompanied by inflamed/hot tissue. (Like a fever in your foot)

2. You begin to feel an ache that goes into your bones.

3. You have pain that emanates from the area that wakes you up at night.

That's when you'll want to see a doctor.

I had a spider bite two years ago that actually transmitted a staph infection.  Severely painful.  The pain was SO EXCRUCIATING...I remember thinking I'd have to have my arm cut off!  Lol!  They gave me some strong meds and all was cured.
