ok so this was my first week of school, and my first week of my weight training class..i was expecting to go slow then go big, but i guess not...after the first couple of days i felt fine, but these last two days i have been barely able to get up out of my chair, walk down stairs, run, jump, anything using my legs and thighs..when i get up, i feel a tight pull on my hammies and all over my thighs...this could be due to my squats...and my shoulders and lower back have also been sore...im not complaining or anything, but i was just wondering if this was normal and how or when will this pain and strain go away.

  1. very normal and it could take a week or more to fully recover ..

    i would suggest slow down on the activity , take hot baths , apply icy hot

    use a heating pad and ice pack alternate between them,

    and get a good massage the massage would help so much ..


  2. It'll go away soon. It's common after weightlifting. It's lactic acid build up in the muscles.
