Could you give me the names of some muscles used in fouette turns?? I don't want a big long list, just the basics. Or could you link me to a website that supplys this information?? This is what a fouette turn looks like:

Also, if you know of any ways how fouette turns are related to science, that would really help!!

  1. You have to have strong thigh muscles to keep your leg at waist height for so many turns. You also need strong stomach muscles for balance, and strong ankles to balance on too.

As for relevance to science... hmm, I guess it can relate because if you have the balance to do fouettes, you can go on for a long time because your leg gives you the momentum to keep turning. (Spotting gives you momentum too)

    Hope this helps!

  2. Mainly your stomach muscles for balance as well as the muscles in your arms and legs..

As for the science part, I would say the use of Balance, inertia, gravity, motion...?

    Good luck!
