Muscovy duck not broody? =[?

Question

my muscovy duck (daisy) is about 1 year old right now but she never seems to go broody. She asits on the eggs like for the longest for 3 weeks and doesnt sit on them again. Does anyone know what age their meant to go broody and if so why mine doesnt seem to be? also what season is the best time to let her sit on the eggs =)?

That's odd. If she is laying, she should set. I mean, really, it's a Muscovy thing! Are you checking the nest every day and making her crazy? The other possibility is that she just doesn't get it but might get it next year. If she doesn't get better, then she is only good as a pet.
