  1. The major museums (including the British Museum, V&A, Natural History and Science museums) are all free -- except for special temporary exhibitions which all these museums hold at times; you generally have to pay to see those. One example is the Hadrian exhibition opening at the British Museum in July: that's £12 to visit, unless you're a member of the BM's Friends association. The Science Museum's IMAX cinema and simulators cost extra, too.

Some of the smaller museums around town still charge for general admissions (eg the Charles Dickens Museum, which is £5, and the Sherlock Holmes Museum, which is £6).

Your best bet is to go to http://www.visitlondon.com/attractions/s... it's a really useful page on the official London Tourist Board website, listing all the museums' info including entry fees and opening hours.

    Have fun while you're here.

  2. The ones you mention are all free, although sometimes if they are having a special exhibition they charge for entry into that alone.

  3. Zero pounds! As far a I know all of them don't charge.

  4. National History museum of London, I am pretty sure is free, but it is expected that you donate before entering the museum.
