Yes, there certainly is a Museum there.

It is  the former train station, the Gare d'Orsay.  The station was rehabbed and the museum was opened to the public on December 9th, 1986. Its really a fantastic space.

It's collection is mainly impressionists. the idea is that it bridges art history from the collection in the Louvre and the modern art that is at the Centre Pompidu.
