Mushfiqur Rahim upbeat about winning maiden Asia Cup title for Bangladesh – Cricket News Update
The triumphant Bangladesh captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mushfiqur-Rahim-c2045 is confident that he can lead the Tigers to a historic maiden title as the side gears up to play Pakistan in their first Asia Cup final at the Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium of Dhaka today, March

Speaking to media reporters ahead of the grand finale, the wicketkeeper batsman said that they have played every match of the quadrangular tournament as a do or die match, and will go into Thursday’s final against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 with the same frame of mind.
"We played such a way that every match was a do-or-die match for us," said the Bangladesh skipper at the pre-match media conference.
"We'll take this final match the same way. As a team, we've been improving. So the victory in the final would be crucial to show our improvement towards the rest of the world," Rahim insisted.

their expense, due to a better head to head record.
Whilst cricket pundits are terming Bangladesh’s victories against the Asian giants, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 as upsets, Rahim has insisted that they won the matches through properly executed and well planned strategies. He further added that his side was keen
to prove that they can maintain the high standards, and the best way to prove the critics wrong is by winning Thursday’s final against the Men in Green.
"It's not that we upset the big guns, rather it was a well-planned strategy and we executed that well," said the 23-year-old Bogra wicketkeeper batsman.
"So far, we have gained everything we wanted. We are now so close and do not want to lose the chance," he urged.
Bangladesh has never reached the final of the Asia Cup and they will be eager to make it count this time.
