Question:

Mushrooms around carrot plants?

In our vegetable garden, we have tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, peppers, and carrots. Around the carrot sprouts, there are always tons of tiny mushrooms. Why is this? Will they harm the plants? I'm wondering because it's JUST the carrots, not any of the other plants. Thanks in advance!

  1. It appears that the carrots are planted over some sort of rotting roots which means you have some pretty fertile soil in that location.
