Mushtaq Mohammad praises the PCB for its anti-corruption stance – Cricket News Update
The former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mushtaq-Mohammad-c78109, has appreciated the steps taken by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to eradicate corruption from the game and feels that culprits do not deserve any sympathy.

in 1990s.

Later, the trio was banned by the International Cricket Council (http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Danish-Kaneria-c1314 has also been banned by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for playing any game under its jurisdiction.
The lanky spinner was also found involved in spot-fixing in County cricket.
Talking to Pakpassion, Mushtaq said that all these incidents have brought a bad name to Pakistan. However, the former skipper praised the efforts made by the PCB to educate the upcoming youngsters and forming an integrity committee.
Mushtaq mentioned, “I’m pleased with the efforts of the PCB and their education programs, they are heading in the right direction. Examples have to be made of those players that have been caught and lessons need to be learnt by the Board and both the current
Pakistani international cricketers and those who will represent the nation in years to come.”
The former all-rounder is of the opinion that the officials must not show any soft corner to the players who have been involved in corruption. The former coach also urged the board to be persistent with its anti-corruption policies, without making any compromises.
“The message has to be stronger, the message has to get through and that is a concern, is the message getting through to all of the boys or is it a situation where people are just going through the motions,” he added.
