Music MatchJukebox to poorer Yahoo! Music Jukebox?

Question

I have been using MMJ for over 7 years and now I have to ditch it for an inferior software? Why is Yahoo! taking a step back and getting rid of the simplicity and cool skins from Music Match Jukebox? For instance the default equalizer distorts my sound and I have not found a way to turn it off yet. I also see that the bit rate can be changed unlike MMJ which plays the track at the bit rate the track was recorded. The look is not as cool as the onyx skin from Music Match. Bring back the features from my Music Match JukeBox Please!!

My issue with the Yahoo Music Jukebox Plus is that MusicMatch always allowed the processing of DFX 8.0 plug in which makes the music sound unbelievable.  Yahoo's version does not allow this processing on Lauchcast radio and does not allow it on Music that you buy from Yahoo.  The only time that Yahoo uses the DFX plug (at least it seems to me) is when I import music from database.   Needless to say I agree that with you for a different reason than you stated that the migration to Yahoo was a step backward.

yes u do have to ditch it, we have  bo choice between the 2 , but we do have a choice with what music proggy we use to take care fo our music

MMJB was the best media player, and people are realising the move is a downgrade from what the MMJB  purists users are use to

be aware Many MusicMatch purists are disappointed that Yahoo has stripped the latest Jukebox of some of its best features like file renaming and consider the migration anything but an upgrade, the migration IS a downgrade.

Once yahoo gets ahold of something, it is stripped back to the bare basics for the free users. Even paying customers of yahoo products, have major problems with customer care. SO THINK ABOUT IT B4 U MIGRATE.

i have forced myself to get familiar with an alternative choice, and i am very happy with my choice, it does all the same things MMJB did, the format is very different, but once use to it, i am pleased with my choice.

Yahoo does not look after its users, hence i will NOT trust it with something as precious as my music.

I THINK IT IS ABOUT TIME TO RAISE HOLY h**l

MY SUGGESTION IS THIS;  start talking up that message board and bombarding them with questions and maybe they will listen and make some changes--

They want a Happy community I am sure!  I am thoroughly disgusted and I have used this for years- I am NOT going to renew-- not worth it when I can get other FREE better services   (aol is xm satellite music!)

SO lets go start  talking on the boards we only have a month!
