What music is the worst talentless music in our times?

What music, past or present takes the most talent?

The most popular music right now is whatever is in the Billboard 200 charts. Of course many people seem to equate sales with good music. This is hardly the case. The top 10 right now is pure s***!! Popular music does not always mean great music!!

The worst, most talentless, bland, corporate music of our time, ironically, is nearly anything in the Billboard 200 charts. Most music takes talent. It's not easy to play an instrument. So most music these days is only a Glockenspiel and a fake drum track. No melody, no structure and no lasting musical value. It's basically the most simple generic music that can be made.

The best music, of course, are the songs that aren't made just for monetary gain. They have actual instruments in them, they are filled with actual melodies and are pleasing to listen to. They have lyrics that stand the test of time instead of being about a fad that will disappear in a year or two.

It's music from bands that actually had to work hard to get where they are by playing clubs and small dives instead of having their fame packaged and handed to them with a cute little bow (ala America Idol, America's Got Talent (??). etc.

Are these good enough, truthful answers? I know some of you people have ears out there and can agree with me.
