Music arrangements for viola, violin, cello, and french horn quartet?

I ran across a website that sold arrangements for the quartet consisting of the instruments above. I however, failed to bookmark the page and am now having a very unsuccessful time locating it. I need a website, company, or reliable program that will allow me access to music for such a quartet because I am in one and we need new music. I am at a loss of what to do and any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

  1. I think I found it!  I did a google search "amon horn quartets pdf", then clicked "I'm feeling lucky" and got this great site: <<www.corno.de/instrumentation.htm>>. It looks like the Mother Lode of Horn Quartets. They're for sale, not free.

I was looking for some facsimiles I'd downloaded a while back, "Trois Quatuors concertants pour Cor, Violon, Alto & Violoncelle, composés par J. Amon." I downloaded Op.20 & Op. 109. Although facsimiles, they're VERY readable, and you wouldn't have to transcribe them.

Now, I've retraced my steps and found those, too. Do this:

google the words "Royal Danish Music Library", and clik on "I'm feeling Lucky." That will get you the front English page of the Royal Library/ National Library or somesuch. On the left hand side, clik on "All digitized music in REX" That will give you a search page. Simply type in "amon" in the search box, and you'll see two horn quartets, along with a couple of other things. There's a horn 5tet there, I see. Now: if you clik on "Read it online" you'll get a pdf download facsimile!!!

Now I've got to go back to this site and see what else there is!

    Happy hunting and playing.
