Music for fiddler on the roof?

I have been trying (very unsuccessfully) to find the sheet music for the solo violin in fiddler on the roof. I especially want the beginning part but have heard it was never published because it was just a cadenza. Help?

Yes, the cadenza was never published, but I think the easiest way to do this is to transcribe it.  I have done this show twice and that was what was done for our violin player.  Sorry there isn't better news.  I do, however, know there are great transcribing programs out there.  Good Luck!

The really best place to look for it if it's not on the internet is at a music school. All you need to do is ask.
