Question:

Music for my wedding ceremony?

Well I have one more day to pick a song to be played in the middle of my wedding. It will be played on acoustic guitar by a friend. He's got me on a deadline because he needs time to practice and is studying for a big exam for his job. I emphasize with him, and I've looked on the internet, but I just don't know which song?! I want a "pretty one" ...probably something classical. This is in the middle of the wedding, not the beginning or anywhere else....can please someone suggest some songs for me? Thanks : )

  1. Daniel Bedingfield does an amazing acoustic version of "If you're not the one".

If you want something classical why not use Ave Maria (for Catholic) or Beethovens Moonlight Sonata, both beautiful.

Good luck on your day I am sure you will look beautiful.

  2. check this site, http://www.365weddingsongs.com  if you can find any wedding songs here.

Please rate my post if this is helpful.

    Thanks.

  3. You could try Stevie Wonder's "Isn't she lovely?"

or you can try Louis Armstrong's "What a wonderful world"

Ask your friends, or someone at a music store for a better selection, these are the songs i feel would reflect greatly, but do as you wish.

  4. Here are two of my favorite songs for weddings

    Canon in D by Pachelbel

Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley

  5. ohhh i love weddings..how about a song that is special to you and your future husband

  6. Longer by Dan Fogelberg - the instrumental version is beautiful.  You could include the words in your wedding program...

Longer than thereve been fishes in the ocean

Higher than any bird ever flew

Longer than thereve been stars up in the heavens

Ive been in love with you.

    Stronger than any mountain cathedral

Truer than any tree ever grew

    Deeper than any forest primeval

I am in love with you.

Ill bring fires in the winters

Youll send showers in the springs

Well fly through the falls and summers

    With love on our wings.

Through the years as the fire starts to mellow

Burning lines in the book of our lives

Though the binding cracks and the pages start to yellow

Ill be in love with you.

Longer than thereve been fishes in the ocean

Higher than any bird ever flew

Longer than thereve been stars up in the heavens

Ive been in love with you

I am in love with you..

  7. if it is the song, that you and hubby dance to then it should be something that is how you feel about each other. how about endless love.

  8. Look for Bach, that tends to finger-pick well. It's very nice (although better suited to a religious setting).

  9. your beautiful by james blunt?

    still the one, shania twain?

amazed by lonestar is what i am having at my wedding!!!!

loving you is easy cos ur beautiful

    over the rainbow, eva cassidy

closest thing to crazy bykatie melua

flowers in the window by travis

    more than words by extreme

all the right places by lisa stansfield

    wonderful tonight, eric clapton

all are quite acheivable on guitar too

  10. Alright, here are some suggestions :)

Crash Into Me, Dave Matthews Band

If I'm Not in Love with You, Faith Hill

It Had to be You, Harry Connick, Jr.

Have a Little Faith in Me, John Hiatt (its my favorite song and i want it to be my first dance when i get married :] )

    I'll Be Seeing You

I suggest 'it had to be you', because its not too slow dance-y, but its still lovely and romantic enough to be special :) and it fits in great in the middle of the wedding.

congradulations! have fun! i wish you luck
