Music isnt working on Sony Vegas 7.0?

Where the music is supposed to be it says "Media Offline" instead of the squigly lines.

It's not on mute. Please help me.

You should have had a pop up at the beginning stating that Vegas couldn't find those files and it would have given you an option to search / replace / ignore

External drive not on? Did you perhaps move the files to another folder?

close out Vegas w/o saving and reopen - when the dialogue box comes up for the missing files, select search for missing files and see what comes up - if Vegas can't find them, you've either deleted or they're on media that isn't connected to the computer.

It means the audio files you added to the project aren't available - are they on a removable drive or a CD?
