  1. One of the songs I heard played in person at the Tonga - England game (and on the tv for numerous other games) was an old German song called "Griechischer Wein" by Udo Jürgens:

When I was in the Rugby Village before the final last Saturday, the band were there and were playing it again so I went to speak to one of the organisers. I assumed there must have been a French version, but she said that as far as she knew, it was just the German song and wasn't quite sure why they'd taken it on.

As it was one of my favourite naff German songs from my many drunken nights whilst living there 10 years ago, I didn't care, I just loved hearing it again!

EDIT: If you're looking for any songs, then at Tonga - England they kept playing "Hard Day's Night" by The Beatles too and fairly sure I heard that during the coverage of another game. The choice of music at the grounds sounded generally pretty poor... apart from the bullfight trumpeteer and "Griechischer Wein" of course!
