Music players that are compatible with Vista?

Ok, I HATE VISTA so very much! I've been trying to download music players (Limewire, bearshare) and when It completes, it says Vista does not support it. ANyone know where I can get free downloadable music players that ARE compatible with Vista?!?

Try WinAmp (you can download it by going here: http://www.winamp.com/player ).  It doesn't use very much memory and is a very nice media player.  Some people have had a few problems with it on Vista, but that appears to be limited to the older versions; the newest version seems to work fine.

I'm assuming that you want a music player, as that is what you asked for, but by suggesting limewire and bearshare makes me think you really want a file sharing program?  In that case you can get utorrent (http://www.utorrent.com/download.php ), a bittorrent client.  You can't listen to music with utorrent, but you can still download music.

Many programs aren't compatible with vista yet.  Over time there will be more and more and you'll be glad that you got it :)

eh im not sure..

and my friend lives out my houses its just kinda out in the open on a hill... over a lake.. and ponds.. and a golf course.. and like half out in the country..
