Music plays fast and high pitched on computer?

any song i play on my windows 2000 computer plays very fast and the singers have high pitched voices. plz help me make it go back to normal...

i think you might have changed the settings of the speed of the music, try changing it back again, and no offense but windows 2000 is too old you should change to windos vista or xp or even better if you have an ipod you shoul buy a mac

Which media player version is it ?

There should be an option or setting to make it go faster or slow it down.

Check the microsoft site and see if it's listed there as I have XP and Media player 11 which is not the same as yours I think

Yep, check the audio controls. There should be a settings option somewhere in the program you are using, that is the likely place for it.

On a positve note though, although, the other guy scarfed at the fact that you are using windows 2000. Windows 2000 is well known as the most stable windows OS that windows has ever made. Every OS after that was glitchy crashed alot and and froze up, including Vista. Most programs you by today will still except 2000, aswell as XP and vista. When you go to the store the next time look at the program boxes and look uder system requirments and you'll see Windows 2000 listed almost everytime. If you dont already know that, just letting you know.
