  1. Hard Core Logo is really good.

  2. tommy - the who

  3. Todd Haynes (not really sure if its him) does great movies about music, part fiction, part reality

    Velvet Goldmine, great for the glam rock coverage

    I'm not there - a must watch if only for cate blanchett's mesmerising portrayal of dylan! Shame that the movie sort of peters out in the end...

    Edit: AAAHH!!! How could I forget this?

    THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW

    Sorry for capitalising but the movie justifies it - crazy, camp, glam, and seriously classic glam music! :D

  5. Velvet Goldmine is one of my favorites.  Great soundtrack too.

  6. If they have it, get Across the Universe, they have very good Beatles songs on there! I hope this helped you!

  7. Well what you listed were music DVDs, not music RELATED DVDs, and you pretty much got all the best music DVDs listed there;

    But the absolute best actual music related movie is High Fidelity.

    Whatever you do, don't get Across The Universe, they completely butchered all Beatles songs.... or maybe that's just because I'm a hardcore snob when it comes to that. Many people do like it!
