Is there a music store in the San Jose area and in the south bay? I tried looking online, but I can't find any. What's the name of the store and where is it?

Are you asking about places to buy musical instruments, sheet music, and stuff like that?  There are literally dozens of them.  Take a look at this list for starters:

If this doesn't work for you, don't forget about the Yellow Pages phone book.  They will have tons of listings as well.
