Music video help?

we r gonna make a music video

but we want a good view of the person's feet while running.

so if shes running, and im filming, while recording her feet

how can we record her feet but keep the camera prettyy darn straight????

^ i kno, sorta confusin.....

also, what is the best HOMEMADE music video u've ever seen on YouTube or whatever else there is????? Please give a link

  1. The easiest way would be to follow her feet while the person holding the camera is on something rolling.

    If it is a good flat surface, a wheelchair or a flat-bed dolly would work... or even a wagon...

    Another way - if the driver and EVERYONE is really careful is to have the runner about 10 feet away from a car or truck so you need a driver, then the person with the camera in the car or truck just need to zoom in a little on her feet.

    If she is running on a track and you cant get a vehicle or cart or wheelchair, then you can try a home-made "steadicam". Basically, the camera is mounted to a pole and there are weights at the bottom of the pole to couter-balance the camera weight. It takes practice, but they work for short sequences:

    The other thing would be to mount the camera at the bottom of the pole and the person holding the camera just holds the pole - the weight of the camera will be the "counterbalance"... and the camera can be at foot-level.
