Music will not save to MP3 beyond 13 %

Question

I have saved about 20 song and it will not save anymore.  It comes up and appears it is saving, but it happens too quickly.  However, it is not on the player when I check it.  The packaging shows it will save up to 300 songs.  What am I doing wrong?  I have saved the songs to my hard drive on the computer, and then copying them to the MP3.
