Musical ideas anyone?

okay this summer I want to do something to be remembered for so I want to make a city musical do you have any ideas for a musical one that has not been made already?

You could do a musical on the rock songs of the eighties...you could show the lifestyle of a teen growing up in the eighties.

How about "The Mean Streets" or " Living In  A Concrete City" not with gangs or minorities, but based on the lost dreams (or maybe just faded) of street people. Who were they once? What happened? Some flashback opportunities and even a couple of relatively brief dance sequences. If you have access to dancers, stage the play on two levels: acted on the lower level and danced, simultaneously, on the upper. Easy to get a grant for a work using so many actors, dancers and musicians.
