Musical note positioning on sheet music?

My friend is getting a tattoo in memory of her father... where are the music notes D A D positioned on a bar? A website showing this with a description would be greatly appreciated!

i can help

remember this:

every good boy does fine

the e is the lowest line in your staff of lines

the d is in the space between the lines below e

the a would be in the space above the g

There also is a high d which is the line (not the space above the b) see this diagram of the treble clef
