Musical theatre people!?

Question

I am trying out 4 beauty and the beast this fall and i really want to get the part of belle.

I'm brainstorming ideas for audition songs. Some ideas are:

Unexpected song- song and dance( i just think this song sounds alot like a song that belle would sing)

I don't know how to love him-jcss( embodies the whole changing for love and loving an unconventional hero thing)

Something from "phantom" yeaston ( pretty much the same as above)

Journey to the past from anastasia

What do you guys think about these songs any other suggestions are welcome and appreciated

I'd never heard of the first song so I looked it up and listened to it. I think it's perfect! Definitely go with that one. Break a leg!

They're all 'good'...but maybe a bit overdone...you especially want to avoid Andrew Lloyd Weber songs b/c EVERYBODY does them!

Try 'Someone Like You' from Jekyll and Hyde or 'When I Look at You' from The Scarlet Pimpernel...they both have the same sort of theme as the others, but they aren't as well known or overdone.

Unexpected Song might be good. Look at the music from Beauty and the Beast and see what range it's in then sing a song that has a similar range.

I dont know if I would do any of them...maybe another disney princess song would do...like ariel.

If you really want to pick one of them songs I would do Journey...
