Musical theatre?

Question

I NEED FOUR SONGS FOR MY GRADE 6 MUSICAL THEATRE EXAM - THERE NEEDS TO BE A GOOD RANGE OF DIFFERENT SONGS. Which songs should I choose?

MY PERSONAL LIST IS:

pre-1920's - After You've Gone

1920-1970 - As Long As He Needs Me

Maybe This Time

post-1970's - Electricity

Bring Him Home

I Am What I Am

Memory

I can then choose one more song that hasn't been used in the other categories - my personal favourite list would be:

After You've Gone, As Long As He Needs Me, Electricity, Memory.

Please give your advice.

i wanna be bad-maybe. but maybe not for sixth graders...

try 'somewhere that's green' from little shop of horrors

or 'popular' from wicked

'think of me' from phantom-if you can pull it off,

the song 'by and by' (i think thats the name) from the fantastiks,

16 going on 17 from sound of music,

'castle on a cloud' from le miserable (which would be good for someone younger)

thank goodness, from wicked.

i wouldn't recommend 'memory' .....not at your grade level.

Maybe This Time...would be my  choice.  Perhaps I'm remembering the Minelli performance of it, but, certainly a song that you could bring out a unique performance
