The Holy Prophet (s) covered `Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, and Husayn (peace be upon them all) with the cloak and then stretched his hand toward the sky and said: "Allah! These are the Members of my Household, so purify them of all uncleanness'. Ummu Salamah said: "I asked him: "Am I also with you?" He stated: "You are on good and virtue" (but did not say that you are a member of my Household)'."

  1. Ahlul Bayt (Ahl al-Bayt) is a phrase meaning People of the House, or family. In the Islamic tradition it refers to the household of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Ahlul Bayt (Ahl al-Bayt) in simple terms is to put trust of guidance to Aal-e-Muhammad [descendents of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)], through Fatima Zahra (pbuh) and Imam Ali (pbuh) and their descendents. Bayt is to give the Oath of Allegiance to Imam Ali (pbuh) and accept his guidance.

Ahlul Bayt (Ahl al-Bayt) or household members of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) refers to his daughter Fatima Zahra, his successor and son-in-law, Imam Ali, their two sons Imam Hasan and Imam Hussain, and the nine Imams from the lineage of Imam Hussain.

Ahlul Bayt (Ahl al-Bayt) in Noble Qur'an

The Purified Ones: The Highest degree of purity means to be kept constantly away from all the causes of impurity. This is termed as the state of infallibility in knowledge, character and action. It could have been applied generally to the whole mankind who are keeping aloof from all the impurities as the word of Allah commands; but, Allah expressively has confined His order to certain group of individuals by excluding the rest of the mankind from it in His divine will by declaring Ahlul Bayt (Ahl al-Bayt) as the persons purified by Him to be constantly in touch with the Noble Qur'an in its original, hidden, well protected, exalted and purified form. It was Allah's wish to remove all blemishes from them:

The Verse of Purity (Ayat Al-Tathir): "... Allah only desires to keep away the uncleanness from you, O people of the House! And to purify you a (thorough) purifying." Noble Qur'an (33:33)

The above verse from Noble Qur'an, is known as Ayat Al-Tathir, refers to the members of the household of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), which include exclusively Prophet Muhammad, Imam Ali, Fatima Zahra, Imam Hasan, and Imam Hussain (peace be upon them all). Hence Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) other offspring, wives, sons of paternal uncles, and dwellers of his house are not to be called as Prophet Muhammad's Ahlul Bayt (Ahl al-Bayt).

The argument is based on the genuine and authentic traditions narrated by Sahaba, companions of Prophet Muhammad recorded in both the Sunni and Shia sources.

SEND SALWAAT ON MUHAMMAD (SAWW) WA ALE-MUHAMMAD AND GET SAWAB FROM ALLAH

  2. Shia, Please explain this verse from Quran? Was Ali(r.a) included in this?

    Answer is NO.

    an shia website says:-

Hadith-i Kisa'a is not about making recommendation of Ahl Bait the Prophet,

rather, it was an Arabic tradition of changing opponents by calling Allah to bring curses lightning, disease on the liar party.

The story of the Hadith goes:

When a group of Christian Yemenis from Jisan ( North Yemen) came to challenge the Prophet of which is the right religion,The prophet offered to them to do Mubahala.

That is both parties will stand in the sun opposing each other and each party will cover themselves with a big cloak, and then all will start praying to Allah to bring curses diseases on the wrong party and their FAMILIES!

The prophet went to bring his FAMILY Fatima and Hasan and Hussein.

Ali VOLUNTEERED to get under the cloak, and some reports SALMAN also volunteered, as a solidarity with the Prophet Mubahala.

This Above is the only SAHIH* version of Hadith Kisa'a

Other versions are not strong enough, because they contain either a bad sanad or others.

I can bring you the full argument from a book showing in details the sanad suspects of the other versions.

In the Above Hadith, there does not seems to be any recommendation for Ahl Rasool.

The same arguments goes for Hadith-i Ghadir, Hadith Thaqalayn, Hadith Safinah, Hadith Banu Hashim Al Haq, and others.

    SAHIH*= according to shia.

  3. it doesnt say anything about wives ..

but if sunnis admitted that it would expose them

so they have to say ahlul bayt means wives :S

  4. im afraid the next generations of Rafidah will innovate the tetra-nity as a good rule of Christians.

  5. You walked into a brick wall on this one.

    Allaah says:

وَنِسَاءنَا can also refer to the wives, in fact in the 'Aadah of the 'Arab it does refer to the wives and daughters of a man.

Allaah refers to them in Surah al Ahzaab:

    يَا نِسَاء النَّبِيِّ لَسْتُنَّ كَأَحَدٍ مِّنَ النِّسَاء

So here it's used specifically for his wives.

Your Raafidhee distortion of the meaning just made your "da'wah" futile.

Seriously, any intelligent person would have stopped by now, but you just keep helping us flatten your da'wah and expose Shee'ism to the Muslims.

    EDIT:

"Abu Horse"... Finally you revealed your identity.

Raafidhee, your statements really have no effect on me, i'm not really taking you or your raafidhee brethren seriously. Most of my answers to you are written whilst I alt-tab between pages.

You can't stand hearing the truth so you turn to insulting my kunya, that's a known failure tactic in debate.

    Congratulations, your "da'wah" has failed.
