They are called honor killings and they are wrong. Not every Muslim does this, just the fanatics, I should remind you that Christian and Jewish familes do this to. What annoys me is that the media will say "A Muslim man did so and so." Well hate to break it to the media but most murders in this country are commited by non-muslims, and are never reported on in the media.

Muslim Sharia law requires this if the child violates the rules and laws of Islam. Parents are required in some cases to kill disobediant or disrepectful children or relatives.
