  1. peace and blessings be upon you all, i believe that most of the people who talk bad about Islam never really researched it themselves. what you see on the news is not Islam and i believe that no one has a right to criticize anything without taking their own time to research it. that's the problem with the world.

  2. first of all,

Islam is a Religion of logic. logic is only mocked by very uneducated people.

Scientist and people of knowledge (Christians, Jews and Atheists) never mock, but debate and ask questions.

and yes, there are positive outcomes, personally i learned a lot from trolls who come here to play smart like @Sara and @~Omar x~ and @eviwahabi... and others. those guys have posted sahih hadith i never read before, so finally they are only doing me a favor... i don't mind them coming here at all :)

  3. that's possibly true, but the main thing is, as you said, more people are aware about Islam.

  4. i ignore them they're ignorent and cant take the truth so they make up lies..

  5. Yes. 2 years ago a local MP made a comment about Niqab/Hijaab. He called it 'a mark of separation'.

But it worked in our favour as the big hijab debate began and more and more people studied it. It was all over the news!

It has made things a lot easier for us locally too!

  6. Yes; it's a source of strengthening our faith in Islam. Their mocking doesn't affect anybody who truly believes that Islam is the right path.

  7. Yes, it is actually something strange that I hear stories of people who have converted to Islam after the 11/9. I think it awakens the curiosity of some people to know what it really is about. However, it has also given it a bad image for some other people who still hear about Islam from anti-Islamic sources.

  8. Just recently Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper attended the opening Ceremony of the Baitun Nur Mosque in Calgary, Canada.  This is the largest Mosque in Canada.

Alhumdolillah he said some wonderful things about Islam and the Canadian media covered it as a lead story in almost every major national news paper.

You can just type it into google if you want but Alhumdolillah, the tide is turning indeed.

love for all, hatred for none

  9. Muslims come under fire because a minority have particularly extremist ideas.  This has only negative consequences and peaceful Muslims are suffering prejudice and hatred because of the few.

I am an atheist and cannot understand the passion felt through religion, but Muslim fundamentalism seems to me to be similar to the Christian Crusades and Spanish Inquisition, murdering and torturing those who do not hold the same beliefs.  Is that what the love of God, Allah, or whoever is all about?

  10. People mock Islam because they simply contain lack of knowledge and lack of desire to learn. Yes, more people are interested to know more about the true meaning of Islam, and the number of convert has dramatically increased, but still instead of mocking Islam, or any religion for that matter, they should first research its true meaning and get their facts straight, rather than letting their ignorance and immaturity get the better of them. In my opinion, nothing positive ever comes out as a result of degrading any particular religion.

  11. ACtually, I'm one of the people who find this mocking positive for Islam and Muslims.

First of all, Muslims them selves are becoming more aware about there religion.

Second, more people are reading about Islam and this lead to more reverts.

Third, those who mock are being exposed.
