Muslims, your proof that there is a god?

Please don't use the "Quran" or "How are we here" as answers. Just because the quran says it came from god, doesn't REALLY mean that it DID come from god. Greek religious books say there is a god named Zeus, does that mean that there IS a god named zeus? And referring to the "How are we here" answer, you should know there ARE scientific THEORIES about how we "became," evolution, bing bang, etc....

Why should the muslims prove to you their believes? Faith is personal and cannot be proved, but it can only be experienced. I'm christian and I respect the faith of all people, no matter how bizarre may it seem to me. Big bang is also a theory but there was no camera then to prove it. If tomorrow some evidence is found that is against that theory, it will immediately collapse. Finally, I'd like to notice 2 more things:

- The atom theory was described 1000 years before the Quran by the greek philosopher Democritos.

- the name "Zeus" has indo-european etymology and it means God. Zeus was believed to be the "father of all "gods" and people". The other "gods" were called "theoi", which derives from the greek verb "theo", which means "to run fast". So, it was not so ridiculous as it seems to you. Today, the christians, the muslims, the jews believe in the God and his angels, who "run" in a way to transfer his messages.

Who placed love in the heart of the mother for her newborn child? Who let her forget the problems of pregnancy and delivering?

Who else placed love in the hearts between siblings?

Can a God of stone or wood protect himself agianst harm?

How can a God (made out) of stone let your heart beat? And give order to your lungs to breath in and out?

We in islaam, believe that only Allaah can do that. It is faith, faith can be proven by those who understand and don't ask questions but make conclusions.

All around you are signs of Gods existence and everything has a creator surely you know that even the first few cells, or bacteria which some give all the glory to they even had a creator and God is infinite and ever-existing who created the heavens, the earth and beyond. The miracles in the Qur'an are truly miraculous and true. The shape of the earth as mentioned in the Qur'an as being geo-spherical is amazing when people at that time and not so long ago thought if you went too far you'd fall of the earth. God is known through reason. Understanding him is difficult but not impossible. The coming of the universe into being from non-being is the greatest proof possible that it has been created. Everything in life operates in accordance with specific laws, and a particular order. Surely there’s got to be a plan, a design, everything is so balanced out. Now some may argue, it's evolution. But if you know science, then you'll agree the evolution scenario that life generated from non-living matter by chance is disproved by science today.

All I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen. You just sit down for a moment, and think about life, your existence, the human body, the way it functions. Our bodies are a remarkable piece of engineering. So complex in its design. It is impossible that such a complex structure could’ve emerged as a result of coincidence. We're not a product of chance.

Reflect on the work of art and you may attain to the artist.

CONGRATULATING AN ATHEIST

Normally, when I meet an atheist, the first thing I like to do is to congratulate him and say, " My special congratulations to you", because most of the people who believe in God are doing blind belief - he is a Christian, because his father is a Christian; he is a Hindu, because his father is a Hindu; the majority of the people in the world are blindly following the religion of their fathers. An atheist, on the other hand, even though he may belong to a religious family, uses his intellect to deny the existence of God; what ever concept or qualities of God he may have learnt in his religion may not seem to be logical to him.

My Muslim brothers may question me, "Zakir, why are you congratulating an atheist?" The reason that I am congratulating an atheist is because he agrees with the first part of the Shahada i.e. the Islamic Creed, ‘La ilaaha’ - meaning ‘there is no God’. So half my job is already done; now the only part left is ‘il lallah’ i.e. ‘BUT ALLAH’ which I shall do Insha Allah. With others (who are not atheists) I have to first remove from their minds the wrong concept of God they may have and then put the correct concept of one true God.

LOGICAL CONCEPT OF GOD

My first question to the atheist will be: "What is the definition of God?" For a person to say there is no God, he should know what is the meaning of God. If I hold a book and say that ‘this is a pen’, for the opposite person to say, ‘it is not a pen’, he should know what is the definition of a pen, even if he does not know nor is able to recognise or identify the object I am holding in my hand. For him to say this is not a pen, he should at least know what a pen means. Similarly for an atheist to say ‘there is no God’, he should at least know the concept of God. His concept of God would be derived from the surroundings in which he lives. The god that a large number of people worship has got human qualities - therefore he does not believe in such a god. Similarly a Muslim too does not and should not believe in such false gods.

If a non-Muslim believes that Islam is a merciless religion with something to do with terrorism; a religion which does not give rights to women; a religion which contradicts science; in his limited sense that non-Muslim is correct to reject such Islam. The problem is he has a wrong picture of Islam. Even I reject such a false picture of Islam, but at the same time, it becomes my duty as a Muslim to present the correct picture of Islam to that non-Muslim i.e. Islam is a merciful religion, it gives equal rights to the women, it is not incompatible with logic, reason and science; if I present the correct facts about Islam, that non-Muslim may Inshallah accept Islam.

Similarly the atheist rejects the false gods and the duty of every Muslim is to present the correct concept of God which he shall Insha Allah not refuse.

QUR’AN AND MODERN SCIENCE

The methods of proving the existence of God with usage of the material provided in the ‘Concept of God in Islam’ to an atheist may satisfy some but not all.

Many atheists demand a scientific proof for the existence of God. I agree that today is the age of science and technology. Let us use scientific knowledge to kill two birds with one stone, i.e. to prove the existence of God and simultaneously prove that the Qur’an is a revelation of God.

If a new object or a machine, which no one in the world has ever seen or heard of before, is shown to an atheist or any person and then a question is asked, " Who is the first person who will be able to provide details of the mechanism of this unknown object? After little bit of thinking, he will reply, ‘the creator of that object.’ Some may say ‘the producer’ while others may say ‘the manufacturer.’ What ever answer the person gives, keep it in your mind, the answer will always be either the creator, the producer, the manufacturer or some what of the same meaning, i.e. the person who has made it or created it. Don’t grapple with words, whatever answer he gives, the meaning will be same, therefore accept it.

In mathematics there is a theory known as ‘Theory of Probability’. If you have two options, out of which one is right, and one is wrong, the chances that you will chose the right one is half, i.e. one out of the two will be correct. The Qur'an is very clear on how mankind came into existance.  The Origin of Life regarding primoridial soup were already explained by the Holy Qur'an 1400 years ago.

The Big Bang Theory about the creation of the Universe is explained in detail in the Holy Qur'an.

The atom as well as the radioactive energy locked up inside an atom are described in extreme detail by the Holy Qur'an.

All this was from the lips of an unlettered man 1400 years ago when none of the above concepts even existed.

Coincidence, or Divine Revelation?  If I was a betting man, I'd take Divine Revelation.

Since I'm a Muslim, I'll definitly take Divine Revelation.

I believe that you need a reason to believe, so you keep trying to challenge Muslims and other people of Faith, just to prove your reason to believe in G-d and the true existence of G-d!

Muslims do not have to prove that there is a G-d or that G-d exist, the burden of proof is placed on you, to prove that there is no G-d.

And do not reference science for your disbelief, or as your proof for the non-existence of G-d in your world.

So who created the sperm that holds you, and the egg that the sperm is placed into, and the womb of gestation.

These are the reasons why God Exists

1)Suppose there is an equipment, a machinary. who will be the 1st person to tell you the mechanism of his machinary or object? It will be the manufacturer, some may say the creater, the producer, the inventor.

2) How did our universe come into existence?Some say the big bang.When did you come to know about the big bang?30/40 years ago said by scientists. But If you read the Quran which was written 1400 years ago in Chapter 21 verse 30 where it says "that the heaven and earth was joint together and we closed them asunder" what we are talking about the big bang is written 1400 years ago.

3) The light of the moon is it its own light or reflected light?Previously we use to believe that the moon had its own light, but recently 100/200 years ago we have come to know the light of the moon is reflected light not its own light. The Quran Mentions 1400 years ago in Chapter 25 verse 61 "blessid is he who had placed the constilation in the sky and placed therein a lamp a sun having its own light and moon having its reflected light" Who could mention 1400 years ago that the moon light is not its own light but reflected light?

4)The world we live on is sp, it was in 1597 where Sir Francis Drake, that he proved the earth was round. But the Quran says 1400 years ago in Chapter 79 Verse 30 "And thereafter we have made the world egg shaped (ostrige egg)" How could the Quran say that so far back?

5)Ch 31 verse 33 - "Beside the sun revolving, it revolves around its own axis" this was said 1400 years ago, who ccould have said that? And we come to know about it about 100 years ago.

6)ch 51 v 47,ch 30 verse 24, ch 30 verse 48 the quran talks about the water cycle in great detail, which science has discovered recently.Who could have mentioned that in the Quran?

7) The Quran said 1400 years ago in Chapter 20 v 54 that the plants have got sexes, male and female. We discovered recently that plants have this. Who could have mentioned that in the Quran?

8)Today science tells us it is the mountains which prevent the earth from shaking, in the Quran 1400 years ago in chapter 78 v 6 and 7. Who could have mentioned that in the Quran?

Your answer is the creator could have written that, the manufacturer, and Muslims call him as ALLAH.
