Females can only be imam to women not to men

In Islam, a man is not a "superior" leader because he is male.  A woman is a leader in her own right, but on a different level.  Her female functions never lessen, diminish, or negate her leadership ability.  She is a human being with a mind with which to think and reason.  She may also surpass a man in Islamic knowledge, imam or no imam.  "Imam" is only a title.  A woman's Islamic knowledge is bigger than any title.  As Prophet Muhammad (Allah's Peace be upon him) instructed us, seeking knowledge is incumbent upon every Muslim, not Muslim men only.

Personally, I don't know any competent female imams. If there are any, then I respect them as I would competent male imams.  A man is not a "superior" imam because he is male.  If he's not up for the heavy duties and responsibilities, he shouldn't even think about becoming one.

A female can only lead other females in Jamaat, not males, and she should do this when there is no male present to lead the Jamaat. There is wisdom behind everything in Islam. Allah (SWT) knows best. I remember when that Aisha woman lead the Jamaat in America was it? A few years back or summat...

Well im Islam there are no female imams. I think God has a reason and I think we shouldn't question him either. Men are generally stronger emotionally and he must've thought women weren't emotionaly stable to go through what the Imams went through. Honestly my opinion on the topic is there are no female Imams for a reason and that reason is Gods reason, and we don't have to know it always because God knows best.

I asked my dad once and he told me cuz Woman get their period and if she goes in the mosque maybe she just got it or something, the whole place will be najis + she will br cranky and wont fit to be an Imam

Not too highly in my opinion. The female Imam who was counseling me and my husbands marriage ended up running off with my husband.
