Muslims : Any comments ?

I don't believe in any religion. The very concept of God sending messengers to save us or to be known and worshipped is absurd.

However, I am not against religions. I believe in freedom of thought and diversity. Diversity means having the luxury to think differently.

I respect all religions that preach love and unity and are tolerant of other beliefs even though I may not agree with their theological philosophy.

I fight against Islam, not because it is a religion or because it is false but because it preaches hate and divides mankind into "brothers" and "enemies". Islam is fascism that tends to unite only the believers using the hatred of the non-believers as the leverage

  1. atheists spread the same narrow minded attitudes by mocking religion, calling religious people delusional, and accusing us of hate just because we beleive differently than they do. definately unhealthy for all of society. anyone who disgrees with me, just spend 5 minutes on r&s. look at the hateful inflamatory comments being posted by atheists. and they have the nerve to call us hateful and narrow minded.

  2. Sounds like you're certainly influenced by Christian propaganda.

Christians actually spread similar narrow-minded attitudes.

Most religions foster an "us vs. them" attitude. - decidedly unhealthy for all of society.

  3. you don't really know anything about Islam you just base your judgement on what media is feeding you..I don't preach hate.Universal brotherhood is one of the basic concept of Islam.i can't force you to believe in what our religion really is..you will never know Islam if you don't experience being a true Muslim..

  4. I'm an agnostic, and an ex-Muslim...makes sense to me!

  5. I agree with you completely about Islam.  The others here are wrong; it is not Christian dogma that opens one's eyes to Islam but the words of former Muslims speaking honestly about the lives they lived and the things they were taught.

  6. This is not true. your feeding into what the media portrays.

Islam is a religion of peace, that's when muslims greet each other they say "As salaamualikum" which means (peace be upon you).

The terrorist, usamah bin laden and alqeda are all extremist and muslims who truly know the sunnah and the religion stands AGAINST extremism.

in fact what people need to realize is all religions have black sheep (misguided followers) and the name of islam is only mud because of a few ignorant muslims.

the quraan does not say "Kill or hate the disbelievers" the quraan says not to befriend them but to be kind to your neighbors!

people really need to check into their sources and speak to REAL muslims not the ones the media wants to bring attention too.

i have no hard feelings towards any one EXCEPT those who down talk

my religion with out ANY REAL knowledge about it.

so heres the site where you can check into the question

i hope you find everything helpful. even browse through the website for more insite :)

  7. Logical Concept of God

My first question to the atheist will be: "What is the definition of God?" For a person to say there is no God, he should know what is the meaning of God. If I hold a book and say that ‘this is a pen’, for the opposite person to say, ‘it is not a pen’, he should know what is the definition of a pen, even if he does not know nor is able to recognise or identify the object I am holding in my hand. For him to say this is not a pen, he should at least know what a pen means. Similarly for an atheist to say ‘there is no God’, he should at least know the concept of God. His concept of God would be derived from the surroundings in which he lives. The god that a large number of people worship has got human qualities - therefore he does not believe in such a god. Similarly a Muslim too does not and should not believe in such false gods.

If a non-Muslim believes that Islam is a merciless religion with something to do with terrorism; a religion which does not give rights to women; a religion which contradicts science; in his limited sense that non-Muslim is correct to reject such Islam. The problem is he has a wrong picture of Islam. Even I reject such a false picture of Islam, but at the same time, it becomes my duty as a Muslim to present the correct picture of Islam to that non-Muslim i.e. Islam is a merciful religion, it gives equal rights to the women, it is not incompatible with logic, reason and science; if I present the correct facts about Islam, that non-Muslim may Inshallah accept Islam.

Similarly the atheist rejects the false gods and the duty of every Muslim is to present the correct concept of God which he shall Insha Allah not refuse
