no- i'm just hear to try n balance out the ignorance here. ii wish that those who r interested in islam find a better place to learn about it because there's more non-muslim trash talkers here than there are muslims who want to guide.

Im catholic but hubby is but i do have an great respect for islam.

I do have to say being on yahoo and looking through this section is actually helping me believe in Islam more...

Kind of, but not from Most of the muslims, from all of the muslim converts!

Like Umhuda, halfblood, and many others that i deeply respect, some muslims have made an impact on me too.

But one thing i can tell you, is that i have NEVER in my life heard of so many sects of islam, until After YA!

Yeahh... I share my understanding in hope to help othere increase their knowlede, and i've learnt alot of things too and other people's veiws.

I've noticed some user are very extreme in their thinking though, and so i limit myself to what i take to be acutally true or not. I don't just leave it for the people to answer my questions, i look into it more myself to back them up and see which are right and which are wrong.

Other than that, i think it's helped alot, aspecially becuase i don't have a lot of Muslim friends around my area so i never really get to talk about Islam to people this way. Also i spend more time learning about Islam rather than just chatting on Msn lol. Soo woo (Y)

Yes, when I first came here back in January, I wasn't a practicing Muslim and didn't know anything about our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

But now thanks to this place I have learnt so much and my knowledge is increasing day by day. I've also started praying salah : ) This has really made me more peaceful and more alert of what I'm doing. I read Quran all the time aswell : )

I just cant wait for Ramadan!

Well not really, i can't really say that yahoo, Ramadan section has increased my faith because i've seen some bad and some good, i try my best to pick up the good things i see here, but other than that, i can say that its really interesting wen u see people who come here with the hadith,

and pages from the quran to prove a point, and thats the best part of it.

I can say i have learned a lot but not really increase my faith, i've learned wat mutah is, wahabi and so on,  interesting things though.

Thanks to those who post serious questions and reasonable answers.

First of all,

I learned what Islam is,

then whenever a Non Muslim abused Islam,

My faith became stronger and is still getting stronger,

The sisters on this section are practicing Muslimas which also makes your faith stronger that there r women who follow the path of Ayesha(R.A) and Fatima(R.A)
