Muslims: How soon will you have s*x after your wedding?

Are you supposed to "do it" together the day after you're wedding?

Well most muslims i know were engaged a year or more.....so they had time to get to know each other.....and then yeah on the wedding night.

Islam tells the husband to be gentle to their wives.... Remember if she is truly a virgin, you need to be kind and gentle...

It's a private matter between the newlyweds, whatever feels right for them. Everyone has different opinions. It should be kept private, sexual affairs between the husband and wife should be kept private. And don't worry, when you're about to get married your mam will explain it all to you. Maybe they aren't talking to you about it now 'cos you're too young to be thinking/worrying about these things? Enjoy your childhood days man, the s*x can wait. Innocent kiddie days are the best!

But to answer your question, I'm not married(still in high school, so I don't like to get myself involved in these things) and I think it depends on both people and how ready they are or not. Some will take it slow while others will do it on the first night..Depends... =)

well since i'm a revert,i had already been experienced but from what i've seen most couples depending on if they're both virgins,in many cases they are they tend to take longer than a week. those who've been married before already know the drill so it to be the night of the nikah. it also depends if the parents have discussed it w/them to prepare them for it.
