  1. Love, I'm a reverted Muslim. I'm 16.My parents don't allow me to wear a scarf or to even pray and WORSHIP. I want to go to the mosque but they won't let me. Allah is forgiving and he knows your intentions. Just start praying because if you don't pray then it can lead you into the wrong direction and not into the direction of JANNAH. Just pray. Praying is key to a pure soul. YOu have to just pray...take some time out to...one prayer is better than none!!!

  2. prayers are very important and if you do pray u will go to jennah but you have to try not to stop and let your parents remind you of the prayers. and it's the shaytan that's telling you not to pray Just start praying because if you don't pray then it can lead you into the wrong direction.

  3. yes we are very close to the time of dajjaal, yet we do not know when it will be.  It is good to fear death, the grave, the hellfire and fear Allah.  If you fear Allah, you will pray.  See, if you believe the fire burns, you won't touch it.  And if you believe in everything Islaam teaches, you would also follow it.

    the most important part after belief is prayer... the 5 obligatory.  Allah said, Allah is in no need for the one to fast, who leaves food, yet neglects prayer.

    Also, the action of a Muslim that seperates him from the disbelievers is the prayer.

    And no worries, inshallah even if you feel lazy, just start. you'll get used to it, and shaitaan won't bother you as much either inshallah.  You can always say authu billahi minash shaitawnir rajeem, repeatedly if u need.  And many other remembrances you'd find in du'a book i.e. fortification of the Muslim. http://www.makedua.com/

    Also gain knowledge about what happens when someone doesn't pray.  What happens when one is somewhat ignorant about prayers.  What does every action in the prayer mean?  What does everything you recite mean?  Read meaning of the Qur'aan, specially the parts you find strikingly heart softening.  It will come inshallah... as long as you are putting your best effort.

    Prayer is like the key to enter through the doors of paradise.  From hadeeths we know that when one doesn't pray all prayers in a life time, Allah will ask for voluntery prayers, and if you are short, there IS punishment for that amount of sin before entering paradise.

    Be afraid, but don't freak out... freaking out might place a burden to make you more lazy. i.e. u'd feel guilty that u missed prayer, and therefore not want to pray the next one etc.

    No. 38 - Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be *near to *perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the nights." (See Fath-ul-Bari, Page 102, Vol 1).

    The duas for morning and evening also helps very much.  http://www.alafasy.com/newsite/index2.ph... (u can download from the two links below where it says MP3)

    Other than that, any remembrances and duas makes things lighter, and therefore the worshipper feels happier.

    try them... and let us know how things are going. what's working and what's not working, and what more you need help with inshallah.

    Edit:  And if you are afraid Allah won't forgive you... well Allah said He will forgive you if you sincerely turn to Him in repentance.  To be sincere, you MUST start your prayers, and then hope for His forgiveness, as He is The Most Forgiving, The Most Merciful.

    Allah's Messenger (sallAllaahu `alaihi wasallam) said:Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, stretches out His Hand during the night so that the people repent for the fault committed from dawn till dusk and He stretches out His Hand during the day so that the people may repent for the fault committed from dusk to dawn (He would accept repentance) before the sun rises in the west (before the Day of Resurrection). Sahih Muslim Number 6664

    Allah's Messenger (sallAllaahu `alaihi wasallam) said that Allah thus stated: When My servant draws close to Me by the span of a palm, I draw close to him by the space of a cubit, and when he draws close to Me by the space of a cubit, I draw close to him by the space (covered) by two hands, and when he draws close to Me by the space (covered) by two hands, I go in hurry towards him. Sahih Muslim Number 6473

    Hadith - Qudsi 34

    O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great at it.

  4. Well i think the good thing about you is that you are admitting you are at fault and so you can make progress. Prayer is more important than any of those things you do. it only takes 5 minutes for each prayer and yet it goes a long way. get yourself into the habit of monitoring the prayer times. when its time drop whatever you are doing and go pray. it is something you will eventually get used to.

    That said, for a14 yr old girl you seem like a very good, mature an intelligent Muslimah. you are more devoted to your faith than people 3 times your age! keep your praying in order and inshallah you will make it to jannah.

  5. Sister, the Prophet salallaahu alaihi wa salam was guaranteed a place in Jannah, yet he sought forgiveness from Allaah 100 times a day. The Sahaabah who were promised places in Jannah never ceased to worship Allaah and to continuously pray to Allaah and they constantly checked themselves for sincerity.

    Your Salaah is the most important matter. You should fear not praying for all your other deeds are dependent on your Salaah. If you abandon your Salaah, your deeds are fruitless.

    Encourage yourself to pray and fight the whisperings of the Shaytaan.

  7. Don't be scared sis. It is probably Satan that is trying to falsely convince you not to pray and that it isn't important. The prophet (pbuh) is reported to have said that "he who performs his prayers has some sort of a covenant with God that he will be admitted to heaven (sooner or later), as for he who doesn't perform the prescribed prayers, then only God knows whether he will be admitted to heaven or not."

    Moreover you can read the emphasis on the importance of prayer (mentioned two times) in the following verses:

    023.001 The believers must (eventually) win through,-

    023.002 Those who humble themselves in their prayers;

    023.003 Who avoid vain talk;

    023.004 Who are active in deeds of charity;

    023.005 Who abstain from s*x,

    023.006 Except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (in their case) they are free from blame,

    023.007 But those whose desires exceed those limits are transgressors;-

    023.008 Those who faithfully observe their trusts and their covenants;

    023.009 And who (strictly) guard their prayers;-

    Al-Qur'an, 023.001-009 (Al-Mumenoon [The Believers])

    Don't allow yourself to say "I'll start from that day" and then you will postpone it more and more. Just simply start and carry on with it and then it will become an integral part of your life which you couldn't possibly omit or forget about.

    Peace and may Allah guide us all.

  8. Muslims are not guaranteed Paradise just because they claim to be Muslims. They have to correct their beliefs and perform good deeds to be able to attain the true felicity.  Thus, a person who does not earn good deeds and embellish his (or her) belief with good actions, will be deprived of Allah's reward and will suffer the agonies of divine wrath!!

    Therefore, Muslims should start worrying about their own actions, contributions, and accomplishments instead of being judgmental about others!!!!

  9. You're a great Muslim! Prophet Muhammed told important rules in Islam.

    * Don't gamble or drink alcohol; it opens the doors to the devils.

    * Don't be cruel to animals.

    * Have a big heart, if someone asks you for something give it to them; Allah will give you even more.

    * Take care of ill people.

    * If some deceived you or if you're having a fight, forgive them!

    * Never tell a lie.

    * Reincarnation doesn't exist. We live once.

    * Life is a gift; do not do suicide.

    * Do not litter; that's destroying our planet. Allah made it withing 7 days.

    * 7 & 19 are the most important numbers in Islam.

    * Allah forgives everybody for alll their sins.

    * And most important one, DO NOT SHIRK. A true Muslim belives Allah is one. And belives that everything in the Qu'ran is true.

      I once had a dream. That a mosque was on fire. Everything was burnt and turned into ashes. But the only thing that was safe was the Qu'ran.

      Don't worry, Allah will forgive you for not praying. But you should start. Praying is our duty.

      I didn't know the end is near. When is it coming? Make sure your last words are: La Illah Ha Ilala Muhammed Arr Rasulil La.

  10. Don't freak out. If youre feeling lazy, fight it. Just do your wudu, and cover yourself and pray to Allah. Praying will only take up 5 minutes of your time. Just pray to Allah to help you and keep Shaitan away. Always say Bismillah when youre about to do something so you keep Allah always in your mind. Allah is most forgiving. He sees your heart. Pray to him now for him to help you. May Allah guide towards the right path. Allahu Akbar. Allah Hafiz.

  11. you poor child , i cant belive your so deluded =[

    sweetie you dont have to pray because there isnt a god , stop worrying your young , go out , party have fun , there are many years to come full of worry about the world

  12. Salamu Alaikum!

    I totally understand what you're going through. When I first reverted to Islam I had trouble staying on my prayers too. I often panicked and felt depressed about my lack of faith and commitment. Sis, I highly recommend you really get serious with salah, as it will be the first thing Muslims are held accountable for on the Day of Judgment. And who knows when our last day on Earth is?

    On the authority of Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said:

    The first of his actions for which a servant of Allah (The Glorified and the Exalted) will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers. If they are in order, then he will have prospered and succeeded; and if they are wanting, then he will have failed and lost. If there is something defective in his obligatory prayers, the Lord (The Glorified and the Exalted) will say: See if My servant has any optional prayers with which may be completed that which was defective in his obligatory prayers. Then the rest of his actions will be judged in like fashion. (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, an-Nasai, Ibn Majah and Ahmad). (Hadith Qudsi)

    When you ignore your duty to Allah, you're letting Shaitan win...that's who's telling you to not pray. Don't let him take you away from Jannah. May Allah always guide you and give you the strength to succeed.

  13. "A Muslim who neglects to do salah is in kufr (the state of disbelief) until returning to salah"(Bukhari and Muslim)-  Basically, you aren't a Muslim if you don't pray.

    I think you know what you are doing wrong. So all you have to do is correct it. Allah is most forgiving, don't ever despair of Allah's mercy. Repent and Allah will forgive you. And do your salah! It's hard and things like that. Keep trying InshaAllah, trying and failing is better than never trying and Allah rewards the intention before the deed.

    =)

  14. jonas Brother's isnt nasheeds

  15. your name says "loves jonas brothers." have you really stopped listening to music then? jonas brothers is not nasheed.

    sis, it's the shaytan that's telling you not to pray. well, you have to do it slowly and slowly.

    good luck.

  16. First of all you need to realize that the world is not coming to an end anytime soon.  You are just going through a stage that every young person goes through.  Don't fret or worry about it.  Once we die we either get buried, cremated or thrown to the fish.  That is about it.  Be good and do good.

  17. The two biggest enemies of a human are his own nafs and shaitan. They always tempt you to get away from good deeds and do bad stuff. But that's the biggest jihad of a Muslim to fight himself from the evil desires. Have a Definite control on your nafs (evil desires) and obviously Satan (shaitaan/evil). We can't tell you if you'll be entering Jannah, but all of us can advise you to get rid of bad things/habits/desires and come and knock on the door of Allah, for there is much pleasure and satisfaction there, and rewards.

  18. You are aware of your faults, and it appears as if you are making an effort to improve :) That is definitely a good thing, I know people who know that they do things that do not define a muslim, but they make no effort to improve. Intention has everything to do with it. When you pray, you have to make sure you are concentrating, and not just doing the actions because you know you are supposed to. When you speak to others, the way you act etc should all be carried out with Allah swt in mind. Am I doing this to impress someone, or because I want to please Allah swt? Mindset is key: if you continuously seek Allah swt's guidance and always turn to Him when you think of your intention for ANYTHING, I believe that Allah swt will reward you, inshallah. As we all know, Ramadan is coming up, and that is a wonderful blessing and time to start breaking bad habits and starting good ones. I think you will start praying all 5 prayers if you use Ramadan for what is was meant for. Inshallah you will become a better person every day sister, and I am so happy that you are conscious of pleasing Allah swt! I am seeking to improve everyday, as well.

  19. First forget about this jonas and brothers, !!

    and start praying!!

    oh good you changer your name!!
