Must Be Ruby wins the Grade A1 William Hill Hotbox Bet Stakes race at Newcastle
The black b***h, Must Be Ruby, accomplished a fabulous victory in Grade A1 William Hill Hotbox Bet Stakes event that was held at Newcastle on January 10. It was run over a distance of 480 meters.
Must Be Ruby fought against Troys Hawk, Premarket Olly, Target Mystery, Hestias Lad and Gragane Girl to wrest the top slot, which was the sixth one since she made her debut in November 2011.
The trainee of, P Rutherford, was the most favourite runner of the event, with the standard price of 7 to 4, as she broke from trap 3.
From the very beginning, she looked in great form, and demonstrated enough aggression to take the lead within a few seconds. She did not get bumped or crowded, running with a smooth pace to touch the finish line in 28.87 seconds.
The daughter of, Must Be Loaded, impressed both the spectators and bettors with her outstanding show. Her trainer was jubilant to have earned the honour, hoping that she will carry forward the winning momentum, and thrive upon her success in the coming
events as well. The b***h was whelped in September 2009.
The second top finisher in the race was, Troys Hawk, who bridged the distance in 28.95 seconds, trailed by a mere length. The son of Westmead Hawk sustained a smooth speed, and did not attempt to catch the leader.
The dog broke from trap 1, and was the prominent one after the winner overall. It was only the 6th racing event of Troys Hawk’s career which started in October 2011. Trained by A C Dawson, he got hold of the runner up position
for the second time. He was whelped in November 2009.
The third spot went to Premarket Olly, a black dog trained by J Wright, who broke from trap 2, and reached the finish line in 29.08 seconds. He lagged by 1 ¾ lengths. The son of Balintore Brave achieved this spot for the second time since his debut
in April 2011. He was whelped in November 2009.
Must Be Ruby bagged the 1st cash prize of £118. Each of the other runners earned £20. Overall, the event was packed with thrill and fen. The locals enjoyed it a lot.
