Must-Eat Places to eat in Chicago?

Question

My family and I are going to take a trip to Chicago next month

My mom wants me to find some good places to eat

She is going to White Castle no matter what

If you have been or live in Chicago suggest some place to eat!

If you could tell me what kind of food their is

like for example: great-tasting pizza, Awsome hot-dogs,

If you know were a good place like a family owned diner or something tell me!

Lou Malnatti's for pizza.  

The Berghoff, supposedly the longest standing restaurant in the US.  German food.

Ed Debevicks, a cheesy fun diner where the servers are rude on purpose and dance on the counter when a certain song comes on.  It's part of the atmosphere, really fun.

Gino's is good for Pizza.  Also, if you just take the subway to Greek Town, the restaurants are good there.  

If you're going to be downtown, you won't run out of good places to eat.

The Signature Room on the 95th floor of the John Hancock building provides a great view.  It's expensive, though, so you could always just go there for a snack or for lunch.
