Must Haves?

What are some must haves if you are decorating your room examples: bedspreads, extra blanket to lay over the edge to create an edgy look, curtains? thanks for your help

Trow pillows and candles always give a cozy look. Trow rugs, lamps with cool lamp shades, a water feature of some sort like a small rock fountain and maybe a few plants in matching containers. ( orchids are cool )

A big lamp that you can have on with the lights off for a cozy, dimmer look.  Also a big fuzzy, comfortable rug so you can just sink your feet into.  A vanity with a mirror, for getting ready and keeping jewelry or a big floor mirror.  Stuff on the walls that expresses you!

A place to sit while you put on your shoes or socks or lotion your feet if an absolute must for a comfy functional room - and I don't mean on the edge of the bed.  It could be a desk chair with a pretty upholstered seat or a handy bench at the foot of the bed.
