  1. It depends upon the basis for your refugee status - if you claimed that you faced persecution and/or death at the hands of your government, then you voluntarily go to your embassy, it might appear that you are not a legitimate refugee, and that you are simply manipulating the system for immigration status in Canada.  That said, there is no law to compel you not to contact your embassy.

  2. Go directly to Canada and upon entry declare for political asylum so that you will become a refugee.

  3. what do you mean?

are you asking how to contact the embassy?

If so, go here.  It gives a list of foreign embassies in Canada.

or go here and click on your country map and scroll down the page to Services and click on that and it will give you information

if you don't want to contact your embassy, then don't do anything, but you can't get a job or get welfare or anything unless you do

  4. The purpose of an embassy is to provide help and service to its citizens in a foreign country. Usually travelers register with embassies in case they need assistance leaving the country.

If you are a refugee from another country in Canada, why would you seek help or service from your country's embassy in Canada? There is no law that states that you must contact the embassy. Especially if you left because of difficulties in your home country.

If you are making Canada your permanent home, then I hope things go well for you. Welcome!
