I have a negative item on my credit report. I disputed it online with Exparian, and got it removed. Do i have to continue to dispute it with Transunion and Equifax?

  1. Yes.  They are 3 separate companies with their own systems, so you must dispute with each one individually.

  2. You should use credit repair agency to fix your credit - for example this one - http://buildcredit.ifastnet.com - They can clean lots of bad stuff from your credit report - and do it much faster than yourself, so your credit will go up fast.

  3. Yes and no.  If all  three bureaus reflect the same negative information...yes.  If only Experian is reporting it ... no.

You need to order a "tri-merge" or a report reflecting data from all three bureaus to ensure that your information is correct.  Either that or order a separate report from all three.

If this is not done, incorrect data will remain on the other two bureaus which can have a negative effect on the total fico scoring for each.

    Best of luck.
